FOUR FASCINATING DAYS OF BARILOCHE - VILLA LA ANGOSTURA - SAN MARTÍN DE LOS ANDES

Day 1: From Bariloche you go via the Paso Flores pass towards the Estancia El Manatial. In the afternoon you have time to get to know the country life at a typical Patagonean estancia > Lodging in Estancia El Manantial.

Day 2: Via the road 237 you go via Confluencia to the valley of Encantado ("Valle Encantado"). From there you´ll be going North to San Martín de los Andes, via the beautiful Paso Córdoba. The majority of the roads you take today are unpaved > Lodging in San Martín de los Andes.

Day 3: From San Martín de los Andes you will follow the road of the 7 lakes ("7 Lagos") towards Villa La Angostura. A visit to the small town of Villa Traful, in the middle of the National Park Nahuel Huapi and situated on lake Traful. In the afternoon you follow the trip towards Villa La Angostura > Lodging in Villa La Angostura.

Day 4: During the day you make a boat trip on the Nahuel Huapi Lake to the peninsula of Quetrihue. Here you will visit the "Bosque de Arrayanes", famous for its huge quantities of the  typical "Arrayanes" tree. You can return to Villa La Angostura with the same boat or make a hike of 12 km to the village. In the afternoon you will be boarding to go crossing the Nahuel Huapi Lake towards Peninsula San Pedro, where you will have the last night of the excursion in a beautiful hotel on the peninsula > Lodging in San Carlos de Bariloche (on Peninsula San Pedro).

GREAT RELAXATION IN VILLA TRAFUL, SAN MARTÍN DE LOS ANDES AND TERMAS LAHUEN (4 DAY TRIP)

Day 1:  Leaving Bariloche in the morning towards Confluencia (Valle Encantado) till the wonderful, small town of Villa Traful on Lake Traful. Light hikes in the area > Lodging in Villa Traful.

Day 2: Via unpaved roads you go back to Confluencia, via de Paso de Córdoba (beautiful) towards San Martín de los Andes. Lodging in the eco resort Termas de Lahuen-Co > Lodging in Termas de Lahuen-Co.

Day 3: You will enjoy the thermal baths and make some small hikes in the area. In the afternoon you can make (optional) a drive by car towards the north side of the Lanín volcano (Paso Tromén) with beautiful Araucarias trees. If you wish so you can also make a visit to the regional Mapuche centre in Junín de los Andes > Lodging in Termas de Lahuen-Co.

Day 4: returning to San Carlos de Bariloche via the 7 lakes route, passing Villa La Angostura. In the afternoon you will return to Bariloche > Lodging in San Carlos de Bariloche (on Peninsula San Pedro).

ENJOY THE LANDSCAPE BEAUTY SOUTH OF BARILOCHE, VISITING PAMPA LINDA, EL MAITÉN (INCLUDING A RIDE WITH "LA TROCHITA"), LAGO CHOLILA AND LAGO PUELO (4 DAYS)

Day 1: Leaving Bariloche to head for Pampa Linda, on the hillside of the famous Cerro Tronador. Some small hikes in the zone >

Day 2: From Pampa Linda you leave early in the morning for El Maitén, where you make a train ride* with the famous “La Trochita”. Afterwards you can visit the train museum and the work place. In the afternoon you will go to the Lago Cholila, South of El Maitén >

Day 3: In the morning you will make some light walks around the Cholila lake. The excursion continues North again direction El Bolsón and National Park Lago Puelo. Optional is a visit to the house of Butch Cassidy (although there is little left of it) and/or the world’s most southern wine bodega in El Hoyo (Bodega Weinert) > Lodging in Lago Puelo

Day 4: returning to San Carlos de Bariloche via the ruta 40. In the afternoon you will arrive in Bariloche again > Lodging in San Carlos de Bariloche (on Peninsula San Pedro).

* La Trochita: Only possible on certain days, please check with us if the train ride fits in your schedule
