My son Marks and I just returned to USA after 10 days in Argentina and organised several tours via Heart of Argentina Travel. We are very satisfied with all you organised so good for us during our 10 day private excursion through the Northwest of Argentina (from Mendoza to Jujuy). Recently we went 3 weeks on holiday in Argentina. Jan and Lis organised an excellent trip for us. To give an example: we went 4 days on a private excursion with an English speaking guide in the South of Salta. From the first moment the guide, Juan, seemed to understand exactly what we wanted, so we have made many light hikes with him during the excursion. We talked, laughed, hiked, ate 4 days long. He was also very polite and always asked us if we had enough water, if we ate enough, if we had no difficulties with the height, etc. Because of him this excursion was a real success. Also the accommodations during the excursion brought a smile on our faces: from a luxurious hotel with swimming pool and sauna to a traditional and cosy family house turned into a hotel. What we also appreciated very much during our holidays was the personal attention of Jan and Lis. We are a family of five (the two parents and three kids of 15, 13 and 10 years old) and we really enjoyed our holidays in Argentina. During 3 weeks in July we traveled around and we felt like being at home. The people are very friendly, curious and helpful. Even without being able to speak Spanish we were managing. And for those who don´t know it yet: winter time in Argentina is not so bad to travel around, the weather is mild and the sun shines all the time (dry season), only the nights can be really cold. What do you do if you already have planned a holiday to Argentina, but have no time to organise it yourself? Some searching in Google and find out what the possibilities are. Fortunately we got in contact with Heart of Argentina Travel, a local travel organisation run by the Dutch/Argentinean couple Jan & Lis. 

We had a rough idea what we wanted to see and visit, they just did the rest and booked great accommodations, some private excursions and car rental. Their service was fully professional, the prefectly translated our wishes into a fantastic holiday. It is amazing that nowadays with the Internet you can find fantastic small travel agencies everywhere. Because of that you are much more free and not obliged to use the bigger travel organizations. Many times they are expensive, much less personal and none of them can give you the tailor made service which you can get at smaller agencies. With our 5 year old son we went during 4 weeks on a trip to Argentina. We knew where we wanted to go to, we also planned to visit friends in another area of the country. We needed a car and wanted to use accommodations who are child friendly. At home we were not able to organize this via the internet. We, a group of six Norwegians, have just returned from a successful holiday in Argentina, much because of good help from Heart of Argentina Travel. We wanted to go overland from Mendoza to Salta and they organized minibus with a safe driver, a guide full of local knowledge, and an interesting itinerary of 5 days, including many highlights (Talampaya, Tafi del Valle, Quilmes ruins, Tilcara). Although we should have done our Spanish lessons on forehand, we hade a very nice time! Also our weekend at an estancia in Buenos Aires was just perfect (should have spent more than one night there!). Last month we traveled to Argentina with the four of us and we used Heart of Argentina Travel, run by a Dutch-Argentinean couple. They are located near Cordoba in the little town San Antonio. This region is not touristy (yet) but really worth a visit. We did a one day fishing trip and a one day trip to national park Los Gigantes with a guide. We sent them our wishes and they came up with a day to day plan, including some real Argentinean habits, which you have to sort out yourself. We would definitely recommend them!
